Our Impact

Our non profit started with the intention of providing as many first night bags as we can.  We are so happy to know that children entering the foster care system will have some comfort items on their first night in the program and a duffel bag to carry their items in.

For children in Crisis and Assessment Centers, having their own travel size toiletries for their short term stay is wonderful.  By donating toiletries that we collect, we save the Methodist Home for Children approximately $6000 in their annual budget.  We also make first night ammenity kits and bags when we have enough items to put in our first night bags.

We provide welcome baskets for children entering transitional homes that can include hairdryers, full size toiletries, shower caddies and other personal items requested.

For those transitioning out of foster care, we provide kitchen, bathroom and bedroom kits.  Kitchen kits a microwave, toaster, blender, plastic storage, cutlery, kitchen utensil kits, oven mitts, kitchen towels, mixing bowls and a laundry basket. Bedroom kits include beds in a bag and pillows.  Bathroom kits include shower curtains, bathmats, bathroom accessories and cleaning supplies.
